ah the world cup is almost over and i cant help but to think what could have been i think the thing that makes me the most sad is that ecuadorian players didnt get exposed in the world cup. I truly belive if we played in the world cup Noboa and Montero would have been in the fast track to one of the top teams in the world. but maybe its a good thing did have this exposure and hopefully theyl slowly develop over 4 years and hopefully earn transfers to top teams with their own achivements.

Too bad Uruguay didn't win this game, they played well in the tournament.

Germany got luck on their side this game, damn too bad for Forlan and company but you can't make those type of mistakes against top tier teams.

I might be biased on this but Germany played a much better WC than Uruguay.

    Luck?

eeehhhhh Well seeing how the game went I wanted to see Forlan and Uruguay get 3rd I feel they deserved it but in the end Germany won fair and square.

I said luck because 2 of Germanys' goals were due to GK errors. Ayways Germany did what they had to do, congrats to them.

Thank God it is over...that was 120 minutes of shit flushed down the toilet. What a horrible final.

By the way...Spain is the lowest scoring World Cup champ with 8 goals in 7 matches....

That statistic is amazing, isn't it? They won ugly in all of their games after the group stage.

Yes, he was. Thomas Mueller recieved the Golden boot for most goals (assists) and Hyndai's best young player award. I guess FIFA thought it would be too much to give Schweinsteiger the MVP award as well.

    Congratz Diego Forlan and Spain.

I guess I should consider Spain the best team I had seen in my lifetime. I had never seen a group of people, win every single competition they participated. My dad is always saying how Holland from 74 had the best futbol he's ever witnessed.

Spain played the best futbol when it counted. As I have traveled through the country extensively, I was pulling for them over the Netherlands.
