He's no better or no worse than the other 2 but they don't get 1/10 the criticism on here that Florenzi got.

Look at the match context. On a yellow card and 3 nil down away. We needed to change it to try and get back into the match by offering more of an attacking threat. Which Peres offers at least.

If we were subbing players based on how poor they were in that match we'd be taking off Mancini, Cristante, Pellegrini, Dzeko and Kluivert.

 

He was simply far down the list of reasons we were 3 nil down in this game. It's funny you try to take this out on him to claim you made a valid point.

Proven wrong how and by whom? My opinion is that we're playing like shit, buying like shit, selling like shit, being coached like shit and ran like shit, not to mention trained like shit.

Another important opinion of mine as far as this forum goes and the general disposition here is that Roma is shit at recognizing and awarding the right talent vs grinta ratio in a player/leader. Florenzi, Manolas, De Rossi, Naingollan, Strootman and El Shaarawy( him least of all, but still decent enough) were all players who contributed not only directly with their skills, but were also able to excel their skills by giving 110%, by being unforgiving against their opponents on the pitch and by inspiring the people around them to give more as well.

Now the teams is so lacking of leaders and potential captain material, we've opted to count Dzeko as our main captain. A guy who wanted to leave in the summer and the whole Solar system knew about it, a man who tonight blames his team-mates in front of the press for the defeat, thus breaking the great team spirit even more.

You can say that I've been proven wrong when we stop being 10 points behind Lazio, who are paying 2/3 of our salaries and are fighting for the Scudetto, because their coach hasn't killed 1/2 of their squad with season-long injuries due to his training regimes.
