Thanks folks. Someone else now is at 100%. There should be around 30 seeds in the next 15 minutes or so and the download speed should be much better. I just ask that you if don't seed now, like Sinko said, please seed for a couple days a week or two or three down the line when there won't be many people around. Help the stragglers out.
Just finished the download, took about 15 hours total. Will seed later after I'm done using the internet for research for a paper.
Just didn't want anyone to forget my request. It seems like everytime I ask someone to send me a dvd, etc. it never works out. And yes, I am crying and sucking my thumb.
I'm done and I'm leaving the thingy open so others can get to it. The only problem that I'm having is - and this is sort of a biggy - is that when I play the clip I only get audio, no video.
So what is the deal with seeding? Once my D/L is finished, I leave my computer connected so other people can grab data from me? Is that how it works?
About the no video problem - It may just be a codec problem. Perhaps eneste can provide some guidance about what you need. Mine seems to work perfectly.
That's exactly what my problem was. When the pop-up box has the button to click for "more help/info" click that and follow the instructions to download the VidX thing. Once this is downloaded (it only takes a few seconds) then everything works great.

I had one that said that it didn't support all the video (.avi) files that were included. It had a little clickable box labeled 'more info' or something along those lines.
I'm using Windows Media Player 10 and it is also just the audio coming up. It is supposed to update the codecs automatically but of course its still not working. Anybody else in the same boat? Once I have this fixed I'll start up the torrent thing again so people can download from me. Thanks.
I'm not positive it's the fix, but try this link for the codec. http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/ I do know that windows media player sometimes fails to download the correct codec.
Ok I'm answering my own question. I found the codec (looking at earlier posts) and I downloaded and it works great. Quality isn't bad...I want to say thanks to erneste. Knave thank you for your post. I didn't use your link as I found this link before and I was posting this as you posted your link. I went to this webpage: Divx Digest I took link #2 on that page and it downloaded the codec and its all good. Thanks again for everyones help and I hope my post helps others. Thank you. This, finally, is what fixed it. Earlier I was able to get video but it was choppy and strange. Now it is beautiful. Rep all around.
It seems to slow things down when I leave the torrent open, can I pause it while I work, and leave it when I walk away? Does that help anyone, or does it need to be on constantly? BTW, it's pretty great to have the whole game saved, and be able to skip around instantly. Thanks eneste.
I was about five minutes from finishing up when I left for work this morning, but the system was really bogged down so I turned it off. I'll finish it up when I get home tonight, and leave it on and "seeding" for the next couple of days.
Hope everyone who had problems checked out Knave's link. That should solve it. There are 11 seeds right now so now is as good of a time as any to jump in if you haven't already.
