Re: East Asian Football Federation Cup 2005 -Final Competition Gao Lin played well in the youth tourney. For a big tall guy he has surprisingly good foot skills. I would call him up to the senior team if I were Zhu.

japan announced the squad http://sports.yahoo.co.jp/hl?c=sports&d=20050719&a=20050719-00000038-spnavi-spo translate all you want.
Japan squad Goalkeepers: Yoichi Doi (FC Tokyo), Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi (Jubilo Iwata), Seigo Narazaki (Nagoya Grampus Eight) Defenders: Atsuhiro Miura (Vissel Kobe), Makoto Tanaka (Jubilo), Takayuki Chano (Jubilo), Tsuneyasu Miyamoto (Gamba Osaka), Alex (Urawa Reds), Yuji Nakazawa (Yokohama F Marinos), Keisuke Tsuboi (Urawa), Akira Kaji (FC Tokyo), Teruyuki Moniwa (FC Tokyo) Midfielders: Takashi Fukunishi (Jubilo), Mitsuo Ogasawara (Kashima Antlers), Masashi Motoyama (Kashima), Shinji Murai (Jubilo), Yasuhito Endo (Gamba), Yuki Abe (JEF United Chiba), Yasuyuki Konno (FC Tokyo) Forwards: Tatsuhiko Kubo (Marinos), Keiji Tamada (Kashiwa Reysol), Masashi Oguro (Gamba), Tatsuya Tanaka (Urawa) their international players are not there. it's all of their domestic players i suppose I say this is their B+ or at most A- team
B teams for both Korea and Japan. did China announce their squad yet? and does North Korea EVER announce their squad before their games? or do they just pick random soldiers from their army? j/k. I heard NK is bringing their A team including Japan-based Ri Han-jae and An Young-hak.
China is going to use their A team but I don't know if Sun Jihai and Li Tie will be there, since they might have to be in training with their English Premier clubs. China's first team has nothing else better to do since there is no more run for the World Cup. This will be one of their only chances to move up in FIFA rankings. On the side though, you do realize there is going to be history in the making right? regardless if it's your first team or your second team, if China beats South Korea, it's going down in Fifa history. I am sure it's pathetic that it took us so long, but nevertheless, it will be done. Go China Go
OH WOW I WANNA SEE SOUTH KOREA VS NORTH KOREA!! does anyone have any clips or footage of any previous matches??!?!?!!? id love to see that!
Any news on how Li Tie is doing? I haven't been paying enough attention to Chinese media, so I'm not sure if he's recovered and ready for the season yet... I will take a win over Korea in any shape or form at this point...
