Ummm, probably not. But it's likely on some documents at MLS central headquarters?

It damn well better be or we aren't getting him. The transfer window closes on January 31st! I'm hoping that the hold up on these transfer is really just a case of MLS struggling with the paper work for a bunch of teams all at once. Our guys, that is, JD and Frank, need to have submitted all of the paper work long ago. We're heard that we're just waiting on league approval, so that better be it, or we're screwed!

    Go Quakes!! :D

It closes on April 15. We aren't in Europe.

I thought so too for awhile, but Frank referred to a signing whose name he can't give out yet in interviews after Gjertsen was already signed and in camp.

Oddly, this date does not appear on the MLS Important dates list. I thought I read that the window closed January 31, but I'd be happy to be wrong! And whether or not our window is open, if the other league's window is closed, that means no transfer right? Or is it only the league the player is transferring to?

    Go Quakes!! :D

Only transfers in. And of course any player unattached when the transfer window was open can still be signed after it closes. I'm pretty sure the transfer window date is on the important dates list.

Ah, it's cunningly disguised as the "Primary Registration Window." In any case, yes, it closes on April 15th. OK, so we have a little time before we get our overseas players on board, but we certainly want them in as soon as possible.

I wonder what the hold up is?!

    Go Quakes!!

We have a habit of trying to sign players who hire agents who have no clue how MLS works?

I'm not sure anyone actually knows how MLS works.

I was on Google Maps looking at places I've lived or visited...when I looked for BS, it was full of seats like for a graduation...and the Airport West site had a placemarker "New Earthquakes Stadium" I'm not sure if it is a sign or not, but WTH at least something seems to be on board that the team is getting a new stadium. I'm just sayin' and I would have put a link or pic, but seems I have too many problems and things don't link.

...and that could be Eduardo. But regardless, they are talking about 3 or 4 players, so there must be one or two beyond Joey and Eduardo.

I like the "Global Training Facility" part. Not so crazy about the "Amway" part. Can they just leave it out, as it's implied? :)

I wouldn't call a Google Map reference as a sign of progress, I think anybody can plop those on there, especially since that stadium location tag is at the opposite end of Airport West from where it should be.

If Amway is paying the team for it I've got no issues with their names being on anything. And with the demise of the LA SOL maybe they've got a few more bucks to throw the Quakes way toward the stadiums sponsorships.
