Earthquakes break ground on new training complex

    Right now they travel to a high school and then to Montclair University at times. Somedays they are in the Arena. The Hanover TF didn't pan out.

    Umm... where's the "facility"? I just see a field and a trailer. :confused:

    And a parking lot. That is all there is for now. It's about 1/4 mile from the locker rooms over at Buck Shaw. It is though right next door to where the new stadium will, hopefully, be built. And so in future the facilities will be the stadium complex.
    Another "hopefully" is the city's plans to have 6 turf fields for youth use which will be built on the site.

    Because the Quakes have been training at two local colleges when they can happen to book time, one of which required a commute, just having a perfect field right close by that they control the use of, is actually a huge deal in it's own right without the bells and whistles yet. And it's seen as something of the first step on the stadium The training field is there now. Next the empty industrial buildings get demolished. Then the stadium......
