Timo and a few other players, coach, and club leadership were welcomed to the Oval Office this morning...If someone wants to find the videos/pictures feel free, but I'd rather not...Some lineups have Weah starting as RWB this evening in D.C. Side note, Weah does not think highly of Italian cuisine. lol
I’ve seen clips, and everyone associated with Juventus looks so awkward. It doesn’t really feel like something their org wanted to do. Worth noting that Infantino was in attendance with the trophy as well.
Reeks of John Elkann. Especially after he was seen meeting with Trump in Saudi Arabian a month or two ago due to his position as the chairman of Stellantis. Stellantis holdings include:
To change the subject I still don’t think he’s Juve quality and should move to a lower level and get more playing time.
He is in between Pulisic and Gio when it comes to playing time and production. Starts half the time splitting between winger/fullback, not a locked in starter like Pulisic but also not struggling for playing time like Gio
It’s very easy to make good-quality Italian food, and it’s nearly impossible to make excellent-quality Italian food.
I'm pretty skeptical. There's no chance that Weah can't get high-quality Italian food. I wonder if it's just too much (of a good thing), or (more likely) too much Italian food prepared in large quantities (for the team). It has to be easier to properly prepare 8 ounces of pasta than 8 pounds (or 80 lbs!). Maybe he doesn't like tomatoes, or can't eat cheese, etc.
Him and Wes both said it's pasta, pizza, and fish (fish added by Wes). Neither of them even heard of "bistecca alla Fiorentina" though...
This will, I'd imagine, very much depend on the incoming coach. I don't know if Weah is "not Juve quality" as much as "is only Juve quality in the right set-up." But he's a good enough player to be getting a lot of minutes someplace if that's what he wants, although Juve have to want to let him go as well.
Yeah, I meant Tudor. It sure seems like he's less convinced by Weah than Motta was and if 2025/26 looks like April and May of 2025 it's not great for Tim, but I don't pay enough attention to know if Tudor has made any statements as to what he thinks Weah's future at Juve looks like.
