    Hey guys,

Since we have discussed this in various threads, I thought it was about time to start a thread for it.

Here are two of my ideas.

    Croyez Toujours - Believe Always

    Toujours Fidèle - Always Faithful

And here are other translations of "Never Give Up"

    Ne Renoncez Jamais
    N'abandonnez Jamais

What language are those? French? I always like Latin mottos for whatever reason. I like "Always Faithful." My entry:

Eads Brigade - "Suck it, Trebek!"

    Latin mottos are way overused.
I like the French mottos - there is a great connection to our city.

    Re: Eads Brigade Scarf Ideas

    Mordez-moi :p

    That reminds me, I like:
    Jamais arrière - Never behind

    I also like:
Loyal à mort - Loyal to death
L’honneur nous unit - Honor unites us
Servir le roy - To serve the king
Garde la foy - Keep the faith
Courage sans peur - Courage without fear
Une ville, une équipe, une passion - One City, One Team, One Passion

    At one time, KeeperDad suggested
    Croyez toujours - Always believe
    I like that

I like never give up above all others, but here are more mottos that should be considered.

1.to conquer is our goal= à la conquête est notre objectif

    2. no mercy, no fear= ucune pitié, pas peur

    3. We shall have the sublime pride= Nous aurons le sublime orgueil

At the last meeting I had kinda joked about "There will be Blood."

So here it is in French, "Il y aura du sang."

It got me to thinking about "it is in our blood."

    "il est dans notre sang"

    by the hand of Garber

    "Par la main de Garber"

Only a slight modification to the above, but how bout "It's our blood"

    "With honor, for glory"

    "Our life, Our club"

I'm mostly trying to think of things we can chant in the game. I can imagine all of us jumping and chanting "our life, our club" while beating our chests. I think it would be fun. :)

    Roka,

I really like this idea. But what does it mean to you?

The way I read this is as follows:
Our life, Our club - is saying "it's our life we will support who we want."

Now if you swap them I think you're saying something different
Our club, Our Life - is saying "our club is our life."

I think replacing "our" with "one" just flows slightly better.

One Life, One Club - essentially says we only have one club and we'll stick with them until we die.

One Club, One Life - is saying the club and the life are one in the same.

Sure, others may get different meanings, but that's what I get out of them.

That being said, I like either version, but I like using "one" better.

Jay, can you give us an accurate translation of all of these?

    -----

I like the "one" idea as well. By the Our, I ment it as this is our (my) life and this is our (my) club. Kind of like, my life is this club and this club is my life. I live my life for this club. I'm nothing if not overdramatic. :p
