And it's over. Only one new view that I saw which was a rendering of an internal view from a corner. Hoping for more on the website. Not really any new information from the press conference. Canetti did close by saying that we'll open on the road for a while in 2012 but we all expected that.
I feel so bad for all those people in the picture that will drown when the stadium floods during the cat 5 hurricane.
That's the North End in the picture above with the big scoreboard. I haven't seen a good rendering of the South End. This is the best one so far.
Capitol Street where it runs through the site is still open but they have closed Rusk Street. And we have construction equipment on the scene!
I have repositioned the webcam. It is now looking southeast with Rusk running across the picture. It looks like that is where the action will be on Saturday.
There's no way I can write on here how excited I am about this stadium! Every thing I read ads more to the big picture, and I'm just blown away. The cool thing is how the architects have answered almost every question and concern posed by posters here. Now my only worry is if I can get to the groundbreaking on Saturday, I hope there is no ice....
Hahahaha. You doubted Andy. Silly, silly Ray. This is the guy that writes in to correct Jeopardy judges.
That is possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen on bigsoccer. And I've seen some really great things here.
Why? The email from the team said "The event will take place on the corner of Rusk & Dowling but entrance to event will be at Texas & Bastrop." I'd rather have an image of the event than of people walking into the site.
Sorry for the out of town intrusion, but I heard there was some new stadium porn here. So where is it? ..... That looks absolutley awesome. Congrats Houston faithful, Oh and welcome to the conference
