And three more Dynamo Academy USYNT callups. Congrats boys. Make us proud in Croatia.

BTW .... Dynamo is the only Academy with three players in this call up. For me, this trend of USYNT callups but no first team players is reinforcing the big question ...

Sure is. Again, our youth talent pool in our GHA is spoken about as way above average in our U.S. Soccer landscape from those in the know. Those soccer insiders that are not even from here.
I am glad to see the three players selected, so well done boys and their trainers. However, when are these, and the others that are from Houston but decided to play for other nations, when are all these talented youngsters going to get some first team clock under Ben?

From that U-20 Roster, there are 10 players that are from our Region III of the United States soccer geographical landscape. Two from both Dallas and Miami alone. Charleston Battery cultivating a player worthy of getting on the U-20 full roster ahead of tournament play. Well done to that USL club and their academy.
    Again, none from our club.

The DCU post-game presser was not put up by the Dynamo until Friday I think. I watched it yesterday.

Olsen was asked about Matthew Arana and said he expects Arana to play for the Dynamo this season, without saying it clearly (keeping his options open). Mentioned that Arana had a birthday coming up and would be 16, hinting that was a significant thing it seemed. (Arana's bd is 8/28).

Last night, at the ATX post-game presser Olsen was asked if last night would have been a good opportunity to get Arana in a game. Olsen said, paraphrasing, "Yeah, it was. I chickened out."
