Dynamo Academy Sucks

Dynamo academy player started, played 45, for USYNT U-15's yesterday. Game was a 2-1 win over Portugal in a UEFA development tournament. Report from Soccer America.

Some promising signs out of the academy

 

That's is a promising start. Now we gotta see the transition to the first team. Something to look forward to in the next couple years.

 

Our talent pool, both boys and girls is number one in our American soccer landscape.
We should be growing, cultivating and selling players to Europe like Boca or River or Gremio.

 

Self-proclaimed expert ranks low the Houston Dynamo academy.

He does say it has improved but claims there is much more improvement needed. Says Raines really isn't an academy product, and that the Dynamo academy has yet to prove they can keep good players in their system.

To his credit, everything you mentioned in your post is objectively true

 

End game, another writer states that our club should still be much better off at cultivating the talent in our own f'n backyard.
It's past the point of frustration and borders on embarrassing what cannot get done as we get closer to Dynamo Season 20. Alex Dixon, Tyler Deric and Memo. That's the list.

Lionel Gitau called up to camp for US U17s.

Daniel Barrett, Lukas Bruegmann and Mattheo Dimareli join US U16s.
