It's pretty sad that they are in this position, but they have a chance but they need to thump Zagreb at home and Shaktar in Donetsk which is very doable. Other thing is they likely get to play games against Manchester City when they are likely already though I'd imagine so may have a better chance at stealing some points.
I realize watching a highlight clip doesn't tell the whole story. Honestly though, I've seen enough, Atalanta's defense is horrible. Its not even bad, its worse than bad.
Dude. You cried when Falcao missed 2014 and made a video about it. I did not make fun of you as I really wanted to. Me calling Duvan's header a Golazo is not a big as a deal in comparison.
From what I have seen so far I think it will be a very tall task. Especially with that defense. I think it is basically over. (But I hope they go through somehow.)
Every goal by a Colombian is a golazo, any assist by a Colombian is majesterial (or any other Ray Hudson adjective) and any “mistake/blunder” is always someone else’s fault - you should know this by now
IT WAS a big deal; we lost our best player (knowing at the time before James stepped up) when we were about to debut our first world cup in 16 years. We were emotional here on the forum; don't you dare deny how happy everyone here was the moment that we qualified for the world cup. Hell I still remember coming across colombian strangers that I played pickup soccer with and embracing them. I remember how happy my family was in Colombia each day of that world cup, I remember how emotionally positive we were because we were on the big stage again...that national anthem against greece still gets me every time. So yes, it was a big deal with our best player and arguably at the time, the best striker in the world torn his ACL. It was a nightmare for me because what he could have done for us. You DON'T make his injury lightly, especially where his career has gone since that injury.
I prefer it when we called Teo God (or jesus or whatever) during the old days; that was the exaggeration that got us through shit.
You went a bit overboard in your dramatic reaction. Just as you did in this thread when showing agitation because somebody has a different opinion as to what a golazo is. Just chill out and don't cast stones if you live in a glass house.
Still is Teo + 10 He’s playing in competitions in outer space as we speak where the stakes are human civilization rather than money and UEFA/FIFA/Conmebol glory. It’s way over our pay grade
Yes because I was emotionally driven at the time; football is my life dude and I was especially emotional on us showing up in the world cup. I LIVE for football and I will until the day I die. I regret nothing... As for the golazo I admit that it seems as if I cared too much but I honestly just purposely exaggerated for comedy; it doesn't ruin my day but only roll my eyes I promise you.
It will be interesting to see what Muriel will do if he gets into the game and scores. Will he do the fashionable non celebration due to former team connection or will he just be like whatever, that was in the past. Anyway, glad to see Zapata is still dominant.
