Explain the two clubs connection with each other and why, please. Also how long have the 2 clubs and nations had this bond? Seems like many Ajax fans are also Barca supporters...WHY??? Thanks for your thoughts.
i guess barcelona just has good taste huh? cruijff was the one who started the player exodus to nou camp IIRC also koeman, kluivert, reiziger, michaels (coach), davids, overmars, etc.
All started with Johan Cruyff. He joined Barcelona as a player in 1973 or thereabouts, won the Spanish league with them. Barcelona fans call him El Salvador, the Saviour, for saving the club from Real Madrid dominance in the 1970s. Cruyff called his first son Jordi, a Catalan hero. Cruyff still is a major influence on the club, btw.
