I'm just curious. How low are the players in the A-league (and PSL) paid? I'm sure it depends on a variety of factors (duh), but I was curious what is the minimum a player earns?
It depends on the talent and the team of course, but for the sake of argument I would say about 24K a year. I have no proof of this and bear in mind that I'm including pay for off-season camps, front office work and possibly paying for an indoor team during the winner. I've heard of cases where an A-league player has actually made more than he would in the MLS because of the camps and such.
