Definately one of the poorest officiated games I've seen in a long time in college basketball. so far 8 players have fouled out and there's still 3:00 left in the second overtime.
absolutely. The best though was when IU beat duke in the weet 16 last year. I was so excited I punched two holes in my friends wall. Needless to say she was upset, but i was just running around the block screaming with complete strangers.
I hope that ACC basketball fans stop looking down on the The Big East for playing "thug" ball. This game had more hitting than a Duke - Wake Forest football game.
Honestly, ACC fans wouldn't stop to think about the Big East that long. But there is one thing that both have in common - that's poor officiating. Although all parties involved should be thankful they do not have to put up with the unbelievable cluster****************** that is an Atlantic 10 crew. I stopped screaming at them long ago - now I just gaze at them as many of you did at your TV's during the Michael Jackson documentary - confusion, fear and a little disgust.
I don't know if truer words have ever been written. Atlantic 10 crews are so awful that the officials seemingly confuse each other with their calls. As a fan your only hope is that the game is out-of-reach enough to prevent a key call from costing you the game.
Has Duke won an away game this season yet? They look like a team that won't make it passed the second round this season.
I guess I should point out that this game was last night, not in a month from now as the thread title would suggest. Oops.
