    Duff injured

    Damien Duff limped out of Blackburn Rovers defeat in the Worthington Cup semi against Man U with a hamstring injury. Any word on how serious it is?

    His injury is quite continuous these days and it is the same place.
    I'm worrying about him...

    It's all Souness fault, it's the same injury and he keeps rushing him back before he's fit. I saw the match and you could tell from the off he wasn't fit, he was very sluggish and clearly was going to come off. He did the same thing for the Celtic tie in the UEFA cup, lets hope he just gives him a rest and eases him back in and not ruin him.

    I read he is out for 6 weeks, so he will be out of the Scotland match.

    I'm saying that Mr Souness is never exactly foaming at the mouth to release Duffer for Ireland games, friendly or otherwise - so I think we can be sure this injury will be given a fairly hefty recuperation period.
