Full time - draw on the road, ??? at home on Monday for the chance at the final. Holmes goes the distance.

He won the ball and played the hockey assist for his team's lone goal. Ran has ass off, played both sides of the ball with really good intensity. Glad he got MOTM, will miss the 2nd leg but hope they go through. If he's playing (well) next year in the PL, he has a real good claim to a USMNT spot.

I have to agree that if we are looking for ‘depth’ guys in midfield- de la Torre or MLS types- Duane deserves another look.

(WC) Let’s face it- many of the teams there will be better than us. These ‘terrier’ types like Duane are valuable in out-working the opposition, which will be a key to beating more talented sides than us. Rely on our skill guys (Reyna, McKennie, Pulisic, Dest) to make the key plays and the terriers to plug the gaps and hound the opposition.

Duane was okay in this one. Not as good as he was in the first leg. But he helped grind out the result.

A bit surprised after he featured so heavily in the semis. Wonder what went into it...Forest seem like a pretty tall team?

He looked like he fit in. He was ok but not a game changer.
Unfortunately his team was hard done by a couple of PK shoutout.

I think the lesson learned was that Holmes should have started.

The guy, Sinani IIRC, he replaced was really poor throughout and 'Udders game did improve when Duane came on but not enough. It could have been different if Duane had started IMO: he'd have caused a lot more problems and made them work more. That's when the mistakes start coming: God knows Forest made enough as it was.
