It's perfectly okay for fans to want the USSF to be aggressive courting dual-nationals. I'm simply telling you that they are. Every name here has been contacted. Could they be doing more? Sure -- it's a big world, and the American diaspora, in and of itself, feels like it's just as large. Hell, sometimes the USSF has found dual-nationals from BigSoccer posters! But eligible Americans at big clubs? They've been contacted.
Red alert, Luciano Acosta getting citizenship January/february. Please bring that man to camp cupcake at least to put him through the motions and get squad familiar
Who said he would have to start? If the team needs a goal, should the sub be Lucho or Aaronson? Please.
I don’t think I saw a question about dual nationals at the press conference 🇺🇸 WHAT A GOAL ON THE COUNTERATTACK FROM LUCA KOLEOSHO 🇺🇸 https://t.co/5GwmG2xNQi— American Ultras Talk (@ameriultrastalk) September 14, 2024 But the college football recruiting thing would have been for him to call Kolesheo and tell him he’s his first call since taking the job.
His pace is pretty impressive at a position of dire need for the USMNT.... That was a classy run and finish. I was also impressed with his cross accuracy in the 1st half. He had two accurate balls with his right and another as an in-swinger with his left. Poch... get this kid signed up please.
Top 2 game changing dual nationals (not currently in our system), who we need to call now and not later: 1. Luca Koleosho 2. Anrie Chase Top Dual nationals (not currently in our system) who are promising but not ready for a call up: -Noel Buck -Michael Bresser -Leo Duru -Tyler Meiser -Christian McFarlane -Wesley Okoduwa -Fidel Barajas -Alex Woiski Simply put, Koleosho and Chase are the two most important dual nationals of the 2026 cycle. I wouldn’t say either would be lock starters, but both would improve our depth and improve our program for the next cycle(s). Of course, you have to quantify for the vapid fan base who scream into the wind, “BUTH THEY HAVE TO WANT TO PLAY FOR THE US”…. No duh, Sherlock. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how Poch courts these two.
Phillipe Sandler or any other decent looking CB’s would be probably my 2nd call after Koleosho. Digging deep into the GK archives might be closely behind that, to see if there’s any dual nats being missed.
Seems likely he isn't eligible: Thanks to @DanielSmith1022 for clarifying that the USSF has confirmed Sandler is not eligible. Does have American family members but no one who can pass it onMakes sense because the USSF is pretty elite at recruiting. He'd likely have been in 🇺🇸U23 camp years ago if eligible https://t.co/plT60w5nDh— ChuckMe92 Soccer (@ChuckMe92Soccer) May 3, 2024
Interesting. His transfermarket profile has his citizenship as American and Dutch. But obviously don’t understand the intricacies of his family.
Koleosho was at Espanyol, that's Pochettino's former team and he also coached them. Maybe that helps?

Position of need, strong connection to the US. Not sure if he is provisionally cap-tied to Japan or not.
Born in Japan to a Japanese mother and American father, moved to the US and lived in Texas from the ages of 3-12, then moved back to Japan and played there in high school before heading to europe in 2022. @bshredder Have you considered doing a write up on this young man?
In the yanks abroad a mention was made that he was named an alternate to a German U-19 squad about a year ago.
