I wonder if thats a first team contract. Parma is in Serie B. Rossi isn't a bad player either. I could've easily seen him get a first team contract with NYCFC. Who is better, Parma or NYCFC? I'm not sure it's Parma.

Rossi probably could've gotten some more USYNT caps as he's one of the better '05 RB's, but I can't be too upset about losing him to Puerto Rico. Could he theoretically reach his ceiling and be low-USMNT level? Yes, but most of them don't reach their ceiling.

Interesting one here, Fernando Alvarez in the Colombia U20 camp. Has been with Mexico in the past and is also US eligible.

I know he's now too old for this thread, but are you guys following the Alex Zendejas drama? Mexico's in a little bit of trouble. Alex aired some dirty laundry in the press since this. Its all over the Mexican soccer media. I do wonder if an accumulation of bad experiences by dual-nats that switch will end up having any effect. Will Jonathan Gomez read articles like this and think "What the hell?" Maybe not. The pull to Mexico is strong.
Former USMNT prospect Alejandro Zendejas faces controversy over Mexico eligibility - The Athletic

    It always surprises me that:

    A) The players and their representatives seem to not know the rules.
    B) That Mexico never had him file a one-time switch, and kept calling him up. Were they being shady or just incompetent. I'm guessing the latter.

Zendejas started playing for Mexico before the current rules were announced, right? And never appeared in anything possibly resembling an official competition with Mexico after appearing for the U.S.? I have no idea whether any of this matters or might matter, but figured I'd ask. Still an odd situation, whatever the case, I suppose.

Kancepolsky looked pretty solid with Israel's YNTs this summer. He seems like a guy who can get a chance at a higher level if he so chooses.

Zero of the Americans made Mexico's send-off World Cup roster.
No Julian Araujo, No Jonathan Gomez, No Efrain Alvarez, no David Ochoa.
