surprising kenny didnt get a call but landon did...what could be learned from bringing him in? i guess they want some leadership around...4 gks seems very unnecessary as well.
Good for Clarence and Drew. I thought it was about time Goodson got credited for his solid play. With a changing of the guard on the defensive line, we need to be further developing promising guys like Goodson. I thought that BB erred in not taking Goodson on the Copa outing. I hope KC is not too down @ his non-selection. USNT needs to be about how you did in your last club game. He'll be back there soon. Maybe this will give him a little more mean streak once the season begins.
although im not certain, i think it has to do with practice setups and certain drills that can be run with an even number of keepers (especially 4). you can do a whole lot more (2 fields of 5v5, 2 goals per team for a drill focused on switching the ball, etc.) i dont know if that makes sense, but im just thinking about when i practice and the drills we use, it would be a whole lot more helpful to have 4 keepers as suppose to 2 or 3.
fc dallas does. its all part of the incentives portion of every player's contract. but its not like we now have $12000 less to work with in salary cap. it shouldnt count towards the cap.
Isn't KCJ still training with Manchester United? If so, maybe he thinks his time there will be better for him than going to USNT camp.
