If Arsenal were to make all the moves you wanted them to in the summer with the alleged 15 mil transfer kitty and funds from players who will be sold, what would they be? here's mine: OUT Ljungberg------12 mil Geo------------4 mil Jeffers---------1 mil Gilberto---------4.5 mil IN Wright-Phillips-----6.5 mil Gerrard------------20 mil Frey---------------7 mil If Gerrard isn't available, then either Rosicky------------10 mil or Davids-------------Bosman
easy bayou!!! he's no ronaldihno!!!!!!! i think thats what he went for... he's a poor mans ronaldihno at best... great player, but £20 M?
Of course he's no Ronaldinho, but Ronaldinho's transfer was a total bargain for Barca. Besides 20 mil is the price BVB publically quoted when Chelsea was reportedly interested. Dortmund is financially troubled, but Rosicky is their crown jewel. He won't be had easily.
According to soccerage, Rosicky was rated at £10m in January. http://www.soccerage.com/en/13/s7333.html
That's not BVB's valuation. I wish we could get him for 10 mil (he's one of my favorite players) or somewhere around there, but he's a hot commodity which will only drive his price up especially when the behemoths of European football have been tracking him for a while now. Chelsea's interested so you know can automatically add another 20% on top of the highest bid.
What about Alan Smith. With DB 10 at the end of his career, we could move Reyes to the wing, and put Smith up top with TH14 forming the most lethal striker partnership in England.
Would love to see Davids in the middle next to Vieria. Look at the difference he has made at Barca. My dream list would also include someone to challenge Lauren, but no names pop to mind. Sagnol? It's amazing that we win the league during a year when Wenger spent his money investing in the future (Cesc, Senderos, Reyes).
Would also love to see Davids brought in as well as Trabelsi. Both would be free transfers, so they would only cost Arsenal wages and bonuses. Does anyone know Barca have a sell-on clause attached to the loan contract?
