Has Concacaf announced the date for the draw to determine the QF pairings for the 2011-2012 CL?

This is what I think will happen.

I do believe Concacaf will try to keep as many countries involved as long as possible.

So one side of the bracket will have 3 Mexican teams, the other will have at least 3 non-Mexican teams.

I think Metapan (Central American) will be placed on the “easy” side, be it against the weakest Mexican 1st place team (Pumas I would guess) or the LA Galaxy.

So it will be LA and Pumas as the 1 seeds on the weak bracket, with Isidro Metapan and Totonto (Pumas–Metapan and LA-Toronto)

The strong side will be Santos and Monterrey as 1 seeds and Morelia and Seattle as the 2 seeds (Santos-Seattle and Monterrey-Morelia).

Nah, I think that since Metapan have no other Central American team to pair them up with, they will conveniently move them over to the Mexican side and try their best to have as close of a repeat of last year as possible. They'll just place 3 MLS teams on one side and 3 Mexican teams on the other.

    LA-Seattle
    Santos-Toronto
    ----------
    UNAM-Morelia
    Monterrey-Metapan

So when the teams draw their cheques to obtain the match-up they want, who do make it payable to? With both Warner and Blazer on the way out, it's different this year.

It's different only in terms of names.
I'm sure the guys who were next in line were waiting for their chance to get to the front of the line.

So I got the teams on the right side of the brackets, but not the exact QF pairings.

Was there an actual video of this, or are we supposed to be simply satisfied with this photo?

Because they're most likely to blow it and ensure that an MLS team is in the final?

Nah, in that case Pumas would had been the perfect choice... Pumas just failed to classify to "la liguilla", and they have not signed any new player for about 2 years now... they mostly play with "canteranos" from their youth system, and I presumed they will not signed anyone for next tournament.

In the other hand, Santos has a very solid team with great players, international players.

That's why I think is not Fair, Pumas or Morelia should had been in that group.. but not Santos, if they play with Starters like they did in Dick's Sporting Goods Park...

Well I got the matchups right but I fliped the brackets with Pumas-Metapan and Santos-Seattle.

MRschizoid21 got the brackets rights but missed a little on the match ups.

Between the both of us, we got them right. :D
