Does anyone know where a list of the 'draftees' can be found? Or is that not available to the general public?

may i note that most of those draft predections were done under the infulence of our greatful sponsor....crack.

Crack - turning bad players into 1st rounders since 1980!

why would boston draft solo over orlandos, where is callie withers, and the beat getting bush #5 i wish they were that stupid, she is the land mine of the draft, never looked like she recovered from her knee injury.

any team fourm is bound to have a plethora of draft discussion for your reading pleasure.

    Here are Soccer America's predictions:

    5. MOCK DRAFT: Here's how the draft could go:

    First round
    1. San Diego: Aly Wagner (Santa Clara), mf.
    2. New York: Christie Welsh (Penn State), f.
    3. Boston: Lauren Orlandos (Portland), d,
    4. Philadelphia: Devvyn Hawkins (Santa Clara), mf.
    5. Atlanta: Susan Bush (North Carolina), f-mf.
    6. Philadelphia: Hope Solo (Washington, gk.
    7. Philadelphia: Missy Gregg (Christian Brothers), f.
    8. Carolina: Leslie Gaston (North Carolina), d.

    Second round
    9. New York: Callie Withers (Stanford), mf.
    10. Atlanta: Abby Crumpton (Michigan), f-d.
    11. Boston: Betsy Barr (Portland), mf.
    12. San Jose: Erin Misaki (Portland), mf.
    13. Atlanta: Marcia Wallis (Stanford), f.
    14. Philadelphia: Laura Schott (California), f.
    15. Washington: Sarah Popper (Connecticut), mf.
    16. Carolina: Deliah Arrington (Clemson), f-mf.

    Third round
    17. San Diego: Jenni Branam (North Carolina), gk.
    18. San Diego: Kelly Worden (Virginia), d.
    19. Boston: Erin Regan (Wake Forest), gk.
    20. Washington: Susan Palmer (Pepperdine), d.
    21. Atlanta: Andrea Morelli (Washington), d.
    22. Philadelphia: Heather Deerin (Princeton), d.
    23. Washington: Kim Patrick (Tennessee), f.
    24. Carolina: Ruth Montgomery (St. Mary's), gk.

    Fourth round
    25. New York -- Breanna Boyd (Nebraska), d.
    26. San Diego: Jolene Charlton (Wake Forest), d-f.
    27. Boston: Carly Fuller (California), mf.
    28. San Jose: Amy Sullivant (Michigan), d.
    29. Atlanta: Jordan Kellgren (Florida), gk.
    30. Philadelphia: Brittany Kirk (California), mf.
    31. Washington: Katie Antongiovanni (Denver), mf-f.
    32. Carolina: Heather Beem (Clemson), f.

And here is SA's explanation of how San Diego signed Christine Latham:

The Spirit will take Santa Clara playmaker Aly Wagner with the first selection at Sunday's proceedings, and it also is adding Nebraska striker Christine Latham as an international acquisition.

Latham, a smart, mature finisher with strong leadership characteristics, is a steal. She's Canadian -- plays forward for Canada's national team -- and (as long as her "foreigner" status didn't get in the way) probably would have gone in the first five or six picks.

The Spirit beat everyone else to the punch, asking for her as an international signing. After some debate, the WUSA's competition committee granted the request, then made a rule that mandates all future foreign players coming to the WUSA from a U.S. college must be dispersed via the draft. New York got Norwegian midfielder Anita Rapp, who played at Oakland University in Michigan, through a similar process last year.

    One last tidbit:

One or two W-League players also could be taken, although the best candidates from the Second Division outfit are joining the league as foreign acquisitions. Washington has reached agreement with Australian forward Kelly Golebiowski, and Australian defender-midfielder Cheryl Salisbury appears set for New York. Mexican forward Maribel Dominguez -- the W-League MVP with the Kansas
City Mystics last season -- also has been offered a contract. Another W-League Aussie also may be jumping aboard.

According to the draft pool listing, there are only 4 foreign players (2 from canada and 2 from england) and only 2 division 2 players (Gregg & Hopkins.)

Missy Gregg out of WUSA draft

Missy Gregg has removed herself from consideration in the WUSA draft due to injury.

Evidently the Carolina Courage didn't forget about her.

She had to be the second best GK in the draft. No doubt in my mind.
