Peter Wilt was fuming during the draft. At the end of both of Chicago's timeouts, you could tell he was definitely frustrated/pissed. I'd love to know what he and Ivan were discussing.

In the Naperville Sun story today (I think), PW said he was happy with who we got, but that he was disappointed that we were unable to get a couple more high draft picks through trades.

I'm guessing here, but I'll bet that we had some deals involving current players for high draft picks arranged prior to the draft, and that the timeouts and pissed off PW indicate some other teams welching on the deals.

IF that is the case, what goes around comes around. Just wait until we are sitting pretty with cap space, allocations and draft picks (if ever :)).

    Expand please :)

It would figure that the two teams that we have helped the most in our Fire sale would come back to bite us in the @$$
