Listen to the draft live on www.wusa.com I didn't see the little ad at first, but it's on the top right right column. It starts Sunday 2-2-03 at 11 am ET

    What did you think?

So, for those of you that got to listen to the draft coverage live - what did you think of it? There have been lots of times where I've had problems even accessing (US Soccer site for one) audio or other live coverage of events.

Except for the problems with the volume on the podium microphone, I thought that the league did a good job. The 30 minutes leading up to the actual draft was okay, and must have been informative for those of us that did not spend a lot of time at BS ahead of time.

And I liked them getting the top draft choices to talk after they were selected. And that they got some of the coaches and general managers to say a few words also.

Other than the audio problems at the podium I thought the league/RMG3 did a good job at giving us WUSA nerds an "ear" to the draft. It would be nice if they can use this technology to audio webcast matches.

If there is a 2004, maybe next time they can have a roving reporter out on the floor talking to coaches, players, fans, etc. and have Dean Linke or whoever does it next time just sit at the desk or table or whatever.

Props to WUSA for a good job....will need to sort out the mic. volumes for the next time. My main concern was that their server would get overloaded or the link wouldn't work...something technical would screw up... but everything worked!!

The best part was that the draft broadcast worked.

Not being able to hear DiCicco is not necessarily a bad thing. ;)

    Good job by de woosa.

Forgot to mention how they kept their web site current with the draft picks, links to the bios etc...all that was good too.
