I'm not really serious, its just that with the upcoming elections, I imagine someone is urging JC to run or he's being asked to run. I imagine he'll choose not to run, and good for him, why wander into that quagmire. Already, we're reading that this candidate is promising Pep, another is promising Koeman (who would be a good candiate, but 1)why would he leave a promising young team like Ajax? and 2) for all their promise, Ajax didn't win either the league or the champs league this year), and someone is probably promising they will put JC in charge of all football operations. It's going to be a shakesperean summer, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Geez, I guess I'm a little down on Barca right now. I hope, however, that whoever does win keeps Antic; I'd like to see him have some time in charge. Go Earthquakes. Tony
I agree, it would be interesting to see how he manages the signings and the rotations inside the squad, and he wouldnt have the excuse that he didnt pick that players, it would demonstrate he's not just a fireman shuting down the flames but a professional that deserves respect and time to build up a competitive team!
Cruyff doesn't seem to be interested in the president position. He's been asked for Ajax a few times and has always declined.
