When do you thing the turning point of this season was?

    My .02:
Grey for Stoitchkov - vs. LA 9/7
I still can't figure this one out! Curtin is available. LA is giving up corners and free kicks all game (Grey gets his head to two after the sub). FIRE have a one goal lead vs. a very fast and dangerous team. Since that point, the FIRE have conceded 4 goals and 6 points! Where is Jim???

I'd go back further. Nowak's injury.

you could make a case for 3/30/02 at D.C.

that was as weak as I had ever seen the Fire play, and it seemed to set the tone for how we would play for long stretches of this season.

This subject should be changed to (Up) Turning Point of the Season, which is going to be Sunday!

the up turn of the season --the signing of dipsey who single handily beats crew and leads fire to mls championship. how about that for optimism.
