    SHAME!!!
Very symbolic were Maradona's last two actions: Palermo+Schiavi!
    SHAME!!!
What about thinks Grondona? Does he hates Argentina? Or may be he doesn't know that Argentina already dreams to get 5th place to get in play offs? Sack that crazy man and bring Pekerman, Bianchi, Batista or somebody else! Heeeeeeeelp!

This is what I am saying for months.

Germany had Klinsmann (motivator) and Loew (tactician), worked

Argentina has Maradona (motivator) and no tactician. Failed.

if there is one coach that can turn this around in a short span of time, it is juande ramos. His system is pretty simple and his teams are attack minded. Look how he transfomed sevilla and even recently managed to get real madrid from 5th to second within a few months.

If Maradona is not fired by the next round then I say that is all I can take. The game vs Peru should be a 3 points but with these jokers we have don't be shocked if we get a tie. And the game vs Uruguay haha, remind me the last time we won in Uruguay again? Any way we look at it, we are in a fight for the 4th and 5th place spot. Next round, Ecuador vs Uruguay. Argentina vs Peru. It is complicated and do not want to bring out the teams and numbers out right now. Maradona needs to get as the Germans say DAS BOOT! Can not wait to ready the articles from Argentina!

The fact he's not Argentino pretty much kills any chance of that happening. Besides we actually do have good coaches in Argentina. Unfortunately Grondona is running the show so it's all for not.

Don't know about bringing that guy in. We are not that big on bringing in from other countries. Only coach I would not mind to come as a foreign based coach would be GUSS Hiddink. Guy is a pure genius, but that will never happen. Bring BACK Pekerman!

i guess you are right, only suggesting because england have an italian.

Pekerman will probably be argentina's best chance.

I must say I am quite shocked. Argentina has so many great players but it seems they are not playing anywhere near well enough as a team to get results. If they don't get 3 points vs Peru they will not even finish 5th.

Maradona is talking and crying. Again! "You can criticize me, I've always done bla bla bla, I'm 48"..

It's always about him! Who gives a ass. FIRE HIM!

If Argentina does not make it, then this would be my first time not to enjoy the world cup. Frankly, I don't give a fck about the other teams.

i feel worse now than i did when we lost to germany in 2006. back then, we had at least given the world some beautiful futbol and some great goals against serbia and mexico. now, we are the complete laughing stock. i was just flipping through channels and even ESPN news here int he states was showing highlights of that debacle. there was no futbol being played by either team. cabanas was the only player who did anything. all 11 of our players should be ashamed.

Maradona has brought so much shame to this group of players it is not funny. Not calling the right players, calling up players who think he is God. I mean Diego your arse needs to go. Do the nation of Argentina some justice and just go away and don't come back. Actually come in 5 years and comeback with your TV show. Say I know I made mistakes I have learned from them and ready to coach the team again. Would the next coach please bring in, Cambiasso,Higuain,Zarate,Fazio,GARAY,Gonzalo,Riquelme.

Those FK's we were doing today were EPIC. How many times did we hit the wall? Messi needs to stop taking them, and Veron let it go, let it go....

yes by far the worst argentina side I have ever witnessed. leaves me with this feeling of emptiness. how can I generate passion when we cant get a shot on target. win or lose, I never felt this disappointment with previous teams

So what's the game plan now?

    A) Run this team into the ground, with Maradona
    B) Fire Maradona and call a substitute coach
    C) Fire Maradona bring a foreign coach or our best coach we can
    D) Give up

We lost 6 Points, to the top teams in Qualification @ Crucial Intervals. We've lost 1 of 5 games.

If Maradona will be fired, Argentina will qualify to play offs as i'm sure that Equador will beat Urugay and colombia won't get all six points. But for this Argentina needs To win against Peru and with such an idiot, it's very doubtful. So, Grondona must urgently take decision!

How could AFA and Grondona let someone with no coaching experience take over one of the most sought after jobs in fubol?? What the f$ck???

What do we do now? What do our players think? If you were Messi/Aguero/Romero etc, would you even want to play for la seleccion? How can they show pride for a shirt that has been so betrayed by AFA?

    Please, go away Maradona.

if i were giving player ratings for this match, i would give mascherano my lowest grade. the announcer said it, and i have to agree, that you wouldn't know masch was even playing without seeing the team sheet. never stamped his authority on the game like he can at liverpool. his touch was awful. nearly left pupi out to dry on one particularly poor pass. when you think of the captains argentina has had in the recently, sorin, ayala, simeone, none of them would have allowed this to happen. they would have atleast shown some emotion out there. i saw javier yelling at heinze one time, but for the most it was a gutless performance by the man who maradona said "has the same vision of playing for argentina that i do" yes they both have images of playing friendlies in june 2010.

Venz is beating Peru. If the score stands, that will push them to 21 points, 1 behind us. There next 2 games is vs Paraguay and Brasil. Which means those 2 teams can lie down and let them walk over them just to give us the boot. As it stands. With the scores that stand as they are.

    Brasil 33-
    Paraguay-30
    Chile 27
    Ecuador 23
    Argentina 22
    Uruguay 21
    Venezuela 21
    Colombia 20

I never thought we would ******** up so bad. It is still in our hands but it's too late for anything. I d say take the most in form team in argentina and let them play. no need to bother anyone else.
