if anybody is interested, this guy did the design for the TIFO for the game in Columbus and he is selling scarfs and shirts which went to buy supplies. http://massivecityffc.bigcartel.com/ He says he is working on HOME tifo that you saw at the game into a Shirt.
Got a message from ewheatley... He sold the original shirt design to Ultra, so he can't update it and sell more unfortunately. He did say he would consider doing a new design - but TBD... Outlaws also have this shirt if anyone is interested:
Don't start nerd-talking me about that crap... There's a whole nother thread for it where the horse is being flogged repeatedly... egos, stepping on toes, butthurt, US Soccer greenhorn lackeys... quite a soap opera... I could care less.
[/quote] I definitely understand the concept of this shirt and the history it's based on ... if any city/state deserves to be called "home," it's Columbus, Ohio. I guess it just feels a little limiting that the team is only "home" when they're in Columbus. It would be my dream to play Mexico in Phoenix and have the same level of support as last week, making the whole of the nation "home." But again, no problem with the shirt and the concept ... just would be my dream to be Nevada/Texas/New York/wherever be able to produce the same shirt.
If anything, I would bet the continuing influx of Hispanics into the areas you mentioned would make it less likely for that to happen. CBus may be he last bastion of home field support in the US.
