The headline says "Arsenal sign Reyes in £20m deal". I never thought it is going to be Milton. Not even close. It's surprising Arsenal has that much money. Last summer they said they have no money because they are conserving cash for a new stadium.

See, voodoodiver starts this thread because he sees the headline Arsenal Lands Reyes at the link above and his initial reaction is "Oh, no! Not Milton!" And so he posts this thread because it's kind of funny, and, well, it's the off-season and he probably thinks it will be good for a chuckle or two. Then Fah Que comes along and says that the headline is Arsenal sign Reyes in £20m deal. Well that's the headline only if you click the link under the Arsenal Lands Reyes headline. Perhaps thinking most folks won't even click voodoodiver's link and perhaps knowing that the front page headline will change before the day is out he sets on his troll and declares that he never thought it was Milton. After all, how could you have been so stupid to think Milton would command a £20 million deal? Then he puts in a line about Arsenal's financial situation which 1) distracts from his troll, and 2) pulls this thread way off topic from the intentions of the original poster. With that Fah Que got a dig in at Milton, and at the gullible posters on this board, and particularly at voodoodiver. That's quite a clever troll. And now that I've written this Fah Que will probably come back and claim it's all untrue and that I must have something personally against him. Well, I do have something against him but it's not personal. I just don't like trolls in general. So folk, please don't feed the trolls. And Fah Que, if you persist in trolling this board I'll look to have your posting privileges restricted.
Wow, I didn't even get to feel insulted before Uncle Knave stuck up for me. Thanks! Really, though, I posted it for the chuckle and that sudden "oh sh!t!" feeling you get when your car isn't where you thought you parked it -- only to feel silly realizing that it's one row over.
I find Knave's post funny myself actually. I think it's a joke. Even if it's not I pretend it is. Although I don't post in this forum often, I have no intention to change the way I post ever. Knave might as well lobby to have me carded right now.
