    An interesting article, I have to say. The only thing I found unfair - completely false actually - was his claim that Zidane only "truly blossomed" after he got to Madrid. Are you kidding me? Granted, he hadn't won a European Cup until moving there, but he'd been a finalist twice (three times if you count the UEFA Cup final with Bordeaux), won two Scudettos, won the World Cup and European championship with France, was twice FIFA's player of the year .... need I go on? He hadn't "blossomed"?! Give me a friggin' break.

    well said Sue.. I agree totally....

    actually I assumed that they let Zidane go to die peacefully in a slower pasture ;)
    I think we got pretty good milage out of him...

    Really though how could you make such a statement? You wonder what planet some of these jornos are on hey?

    Here's the quote:

    Roberto Carlos was still VERY young when he was with Inter - briefly- and, yes, he "blossomed" when he went to Real. I believe he would've done so had he stayed as well, but we'll never know.
