I just got after the Freedom office for charging me for my 2003 season tickets without deducting the cost of my unused home playoff tickets. The response was that they are setting up a special game for which season ticket holders could use their playoff tickets. If I hear anything more, I'll let you know. But don't throw away the rest of your season ticket booklet yet!

It's supposed to be a match versus a Russian team in October in Germantown.

Do you think that's it? I knew about that one (Gabarra even gave the team and the date at the "Welcome home" event on Sunday). I was figuring (and hoping) it was something else. Can all the season ticket holders even fit into that stadium?

You have a point there... My guess is many will opt not to go and be able to apply the credit towards next year or something.

I was told by the team that is the match for the 12th ticket. Who is the team and what is the date?

Or say they're not going to go, get the credit, then pay whatever the going rate is for the game. I can't imagine that it's going to be $30/ticket. If they want me to pay that kind of money for an exhibition game, they'd better throw in something special.

I'd settle for dinner with Skate Noftsinger. ;)

It's a Russian team whose name I can't remember. I remember the date as October 19th (some people think Gabarra said the 17th, but since that's a Thursday and the 19th is a Saturday, I'd bet on the latter).

I was wrong: a friend of mine checked the date with the Freedom office, and the game is indeed October 17th, which is a Thursday.
