Just received it in the mail. Incredible live footage, all of their videos and an interview from England. A must-have for fans of the band. http://www.plexifilm.com/
Does the live footage contain an even number of tunes from theie albums or is it more heavily slanted towards one or the other? I'm a huge fan of Today and less so of the other albums. Murf
They put out 3 LPs and each one has a different vibe. "On Fire" is my personal favorite but each one has some incredible songs. "Summertime" & "4th of July" from "This Is Our Music" are 2 of my favorites. That album is considered their "weaker" album but to me it's like calling "Let It Be" a weaker Beatles album. What's great is that you can see their progression from scared warm-up band in '88 to more confident headliners. It's worth it just to see them play a HS gymnasium in Boston when they were getting started. Complete with basketball backboard and one-foot-high HS stage. The videos are pretty unique too. An art school friend of Naomi's directed them. They feature some pretty violent imagery like carpet bombings in Vietnam and car wrecks. Kind of odd considering G-500's music is relatively laid back.
