The deal is done. He's going to Everton on January 1st for a three month loan.

Interesting signing, but were will he play?

They already have Felliani and Cahill pushing each other out of position back into central mid when they are both more effective playing behind the striker.

On the bench, like most of his gunslinging, flagwaving, mindless compatriots.

How many Donny threads do I have to see? They all hype this move and player like Ronaldo pissing off to Real Madrid. Nobody cares.

Stop being such a troll. This joker has been Donovan bashing in every thread possible to get a rise out of US fans. The move is a legitimate and solid move by Everton to gain a possible edge up front. They are in relegation danger and riddled with injuries. This was a cost effective, smart move to add a strong attacker. He fits in their scheme and Everton's FO knows a hell of a lot more than you do. Stop being such a whiny twat. Just turn the channel if you can't take it instead of being such an immature euro-snob. If it gets you off to spread hate in every forum then maybe the Mod's need to step in and card your silly ass.

    Grow up.

'daddy beat you' - haha, typical American comeback. I hear that weak insult alot. They must have a thing about daddy beating in that backward place where theyre from. They must worship Josef Fritzl or something.

In answer to your question - no. My point is, you ********ing idiot, that you yanky pricks love to hype yourselves up all the time, moreso than you can chew. And my point is, you aren't always what you're cracked up to be.

Metro is being a bit too proud (and defensive) of his country, but who isn't. I certainly am. And I admit my interest tends to wander to teams where top Yanks play. I'm proud of Friedel, Howard, Dempsey and now Donovan. England fans are not immune to the disease either. JD, I think that we will be lucky to beat England, especially seeing it's game one for both and you will really want a fast start, but I don't think a crush is in order. Without knowing who will actually be in the game (let's face it, injuries may have an effect) I'm thinking 1-0 or 2-1 to England. And remember, we did beat Spain.

That said, I think we can all agree that Donovan's debut was far from the flop that many naysayers predicted, and against a top 4 side. The game was not shown on Dish so I didn't see it, but from what I've read, he was a factor all game long, in weather that a Southern Californian usually only sees on TV.

We should all be able to get along, here, shouldn't we. We are, after all, mostly adults, aren't we?

The English are angry they've gone from empire to colony in less than a century. It's understandable their citizens are lashing out. What does England bring to the table these days? Seriously?

Ah yes..only in America, can somebody massacre 30 kids in a school with a gun and people turn round and say it wouldn't have happened if people had more guns. Talk about stupid, LOL.
