I know that he is good but this is impressive. I just received my "World Soccer" magazine in it is the ranking from the recent FIFA World Player 2002. I was startled to find our boy Landon listed at #29, I than proceeded to fall off of my chair as I saw who voted for him....He received two third place votes from the coaches of Cape Verde Islands and are you ready for this...

You're never going to believe what you are about to read.

MEXICO! I thought that dude intensely disliked anyone North of his border.
Just in case you were wondering who Arena voted for:
    1. Raul 2. Kahn (He must be over how he beat us in S.K.) and 3. Henry

I thought that you all would get a kick out of that!

    Sorry for the Drama ;)

I'm not at all surprised (and I think I've said the same thing in this forum before...). After seeing and gauging the reaction to him from the World Cup, it seems perfectly natural. Despite the US stuffing it up Mexico's behind, Mexican fans have given high praise to LanDo.

Especially if you consider your country's skills to be among the world's best and you get burned by someone the way Landon did them??...you bet you'd better sing their praises!

That certainly is a Mexican fallacy in reasoning. Or is it their "phallusy?"

I too saw the latest issue of World Soccer last night at the newstand and noticed that Mexico's vote was cast by neither by Aguirre nor Lavolpe.

It was someone whose name I did not recognize.

Could you please post the name of the person whom you are reffering to, if you still got the magazine handy?

    Gracias.

I didn't recognize his name either. It was Alberto Aguilar Mijes. Anyone have any idea who he is?

Henry is #1, no way is Raul better than Henry. And I don't think keepers should be ranked with field players.

    Yahoo:rolleyes:
This means nothing unless he has a better year on the pitch for us than he did last season.
