What American piss is too good for Mexican soil? Or was his packaging wrong? If he'd been in the stands and thrown it onto the feild in a ziplock would that have been okay. I don't for a second believe the Mexican reports in regards to this issue.

The American camp has been denying that the pissing incident even took place.

The Mexican press could have concocted the entire event to provide that extra motivation you refer to.

Why, for example, if Donovan did this in full view of reporters, etc, are there no photos - a photo of this would be gold and there were photoggraphers at every practice. Why no other reports of this other than in in Mexican press?

 

Plus, think of what those photos woudl be worth on the SJ board alone. What would the bidding start at to get a look at 'Little Landon?'

 

Donovan was filmed taking a piss along with other USMNT players.. The footage was shown in diffrent footy shows in Mexico. I think this also lead to some more aggro from the fans in the stands.. Not that it matters now anyways..

 

Well, post the footage here, VS, because some claim that footage is doctored as well.


And even the "footage" would seem to indicate as such - if it shows multiple players on the pitch, why would they not mention that in ANY of the articles?

I dont have any pics of the event. i did see one online, cant remeber where. Most of the press didnt make a big deal but since the incident was filmed it was shown on tv. Now it is important to know that Jalisco Stadium also houses Atlas which fan base is very supportive of their ex coach Lavolpe and have a South American style "Bara Brava" and most likely in charge of the Organized chants. Atlas plays second fiddle to Chivas we own them they are our bitches and yes their fans are the lowest of the low. There Femfa i said it..

On to other News.. Jimmy Goldsmith who is in charge of MNT international relations has sent a letter of apology to the USSF for the fans poor behaivor. He also said he will send a complaint letter about Lando taking a piss. Now in an earlier interview the people in charge of Jalisco Stadium "Clubes Unidos" said what Lando did was no big deal.. .

All we know is that twice mexican fans have chanted Osama, which is not disputed only the number of people chanting it is. Mexico is for Terrorists and for drumming up controversy. I am very surprised, VS, that with a hoard of Mexican reporters witnessing this "vile" act, that not one picture was taken of the incident. Don't reporters all over the world have trigger-fingers when it comes to their cameras and unusual events? Aren't they taught that taking pictures of these happenings must be instinctive since it is their lifeblood - what puts bread on their tables?

You said that you saw the video footage, but someone else said they saw it too, and it the alleged urinator didn't even look like Donovan.

Please post the proof. Otherwise, it'll look like more dirty gamesmanship (gamesmanship . . . what an oxymoron in this case) . . . this time from the Mexican press.

 

If you saw it on-line, you ought to be able to find the link. Check your history URLs. I'm sure it's there. Until you do, this is just an unsubstantiated story.

 

Of course, you realize any picture produced could be Photo-Shopped to look like anything. So to me, that's still no proof. US Soccer has denied it happened. That's good enough for me.
