The ''LIGA MAYOR DE FUTBOL 2011'' has been postphoned a few weeks (like usually) and will be without La Vega and Jarabacoa this season for financial reasons

Here's a good review of the last World Cup game: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2peSHCnMFcA"]WK-kwalificatie 2014, Dominican Republic vs. Suriname (1-1) - YouTube[/ame]
even worse, the liga mayor started a few weeks ago with only FIVE teams O&M (sto dgo) Bauger (sto dgo) Pantoja (sto dgo) Barcelona (sto dgo) San Cristobal

Great news, and hopefully the experience helps Dominican clubs get ready for eventually playing in the CFU Club Champions Cup.
Not a bad idea at all. Will the winner get a spot in the Club Champions Cup, or even the CONCACAF Champions League?
I don't expect details on the format and entering clubs for next year's Club Champions Cup anytime soon, and a Dominican club certainly won't get in the Champions League without beating other CFU clubs first.
Just to let you guys know, the Dominican Republic national team is now ranked at 92 in the Fifa wold rankings, for many years Los Quisqueyanos spent a lot of time around 170-190. http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/index.html?intcmp=fifacom_hp_module_ranking
According to CONCACAF, we'll be in the same final-round group in Antigua and Barbuda. So, there's only one thing left to say:
Oye vecinos, FWIW, I lodged a complaint with the CFU on the tournament's official Facebook page about the arbitrary decision against your team. I'll let you know if anything comes of it. For now, here's your schedule (all times EST): Friday, December 7 at 7:00 pm vs. Antigua and Barbuda Sunday, December 9 at 5:00 pm vs Haiti Tuesday, December 11 at 5:00 pm vs. Trinidad and Tobago
Hello... I am working on developing soccer in countries that are growing their soccer community and I am planning to go to DR to begin a cultural introduction of the country using soccer and travel to teams and players from all over. I would like to know if there are any schools or clubs that can play against these teams ranging from U10 to U19 boys and girls. It would be nice to connect with them and see if there is any way to begin a relationship with schools and clubs to continue promoting soccer in the country to help it grow. I also want to have these teams take soccer equipment to donate to small schools and teams to keep them playing... Any help appreciated...
