Technically speaking, the Supporter's Shield didn't exist in 1996 and 1997. I would state "League Champion" for those two years but total as you have...just nit pickin'

At this point the Fire organization (Front office, Coaches, Players, and Fans) really need to thank Marc Connolly for predicting a poor finish for the Men in Red this season. And if they take the MLS Cup as well, they should dedicate the season to the man.

The Fire are going for the first American treble. All I can say is that I hope the MLS Cup turns out like it did in 2000. :D

Hm, that wouldn't be so bad.

A tediously boring game leading up to the winner of the supporter's shield defeating the runner up.

Too bad the Wizards won't be there to see it.

The thing I find interesting is that only once have there been 3 different winners in a year. The Fire are going for the first treble, but there has been a double every year but one.

You mean the ref missing a blatant foul that leads to a goal?
