The shot of the fat DC fan with the blonde Dorothy Hamill haircut in tears after Lopez converted the PK is priceless.

And who is the genius at DC who decided that hiring the goalkeepers from LA's worst defensive season when they conceded an all-time MLS record of 62 goals (Wicks and Cronin) was a good move?

Considering that sales of those energy drinks just bought us a nice new stadium, they could change the team's name to Red Boludo and it still wouldn't bother me.

sad ass mentality when a shinny new stadium is reason enough to accept some thing THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

no stadium is going to get me to support a energy drink....

I will put up with a bad team for years and stick it out thru and thru however I draw the line at this shameless propaganda and constant reminder of this repulsive drink.....I want to support a proper club or at least some thing that can resemble a proper club identity NOT a drink...I dont mind these jokers as sponcers but to name the team after the drink the team logo after the drink logo that is a major turn off...so i hope the shinny new stadium is a continuation of the mess they were in the dusty old giants stadium.....

Who gives a **** if we're named after an energy drink? Red Bulls is no worse than Blue Raiders or Blue Devils or something. Hell, the logo even looks pretty cool.

    That is horseshit.

Pissed at redbull or not flaco...I will never, EVER support DC United, wish them well, or hope anything happens to them except utter failure. Fuck DC.

Bottom line here is, at the end it's still a NY/NJ team. and that is why I support it.

if they changed the name to Blue Balls, i would still support it. because its our team. and besides we have one of the richest owners around and they probably can pay anyone to come here if they want to. can't say the same for many teams in the league.

But Kevin Payne thinks it was their beautiful football that kept them out of the playoffs. What an arrogant ass...

    Not really

I can't get overly excited about my neighbors vermin infestation when my own house is burning down.

I love the stadium, I love the team -- and I love the drink. Especially with vodka.

Actually, this season it was easier to take the team with vodka, too.

I wish I could say I admire your purist sentimentality, but I don't. Your butt will not be missed in our gem on the Passaic. My butt may be in Florida, but my heart will be on Cape May Street.

Hopefully you will still have this devil may care attitude when that said shiny new venue features the same old crusty turd of a team.

was anyone asking you to support? and whether or not it is morally right to be owned and named after a soda, shouldn't the fans be allowed to have a rival team to hate? or do you hate RBNY supporters as well? I don't mind if you do hate us, you're entitled to every opinion you have against anything Red Bull related whether it be their F1 team or surfer Adriano De Souza, but it's just redundant and almost trolling/flaming at this point.

We get it, you hate everything our team stands for.

We had an awful season, let us have a smile at the expense of our biggest and most bitter rival without you having to butt in and remind us that our team is a billboard.

but let's be fair, Wile does list Club Nacional de Football as his/her team, so a newbie to the club supporting dating game he/she is not. just trying to douse the flames...

getting back on topic though, that clip is priceless, a must watch for any METRO/RBNY supporter or Scum hater.

true, but why is he so much into the redbulls, I mean shouldn't he be in the Americas forum downing anyone not supporting his favorite team.

But it is a free country / forum, so he has the right to his opinion. :)
