'Bouncer seeking to sell story' A bouncer who alleges he was assaulted by a Chelsea footballer is hoping to sell the story to newspapers and make a claim for compensation, a court has been told. Doorman Trevor Thirlwall, goaded John Terry, teammate Jody Morris, and Wimbledon player Des Byrne, into a fight at the Wellington nightclub in Knightsbridge, Middlesex Crown Court heard. Mr Thirlwall's brother Matthew, has already collected £2,000 from the Sunday People for a photograph of the bouncer, said Desmond de Silva QC, representing Terry.
