I'm not sold on ManU needing another young defender despite all the speculation again circulating in the press. ManU has Rio, Gary and Phil, Blanc, O'Shea, Wes Brown, & Silvestre plus some other young pups. And isn't David May still with the squad? Maybe Fergie sees this as an ideal time to pick up a guy on the cheap given the lack of cash most clubs have to sign players.
