The bomb has exploded and now many comment on why INTER has been helped by controversial Referee decisions. Is this another "calciopolis." I hope not. We already had enough with the Juventus scandal paying a high price!

It would be better to win convincingly. Inter at least should have lost 1 match had not been for "referees mistakes."

It is obvious that in the last four matches, starting from Inter 3 - 2 Parma, they have been favored by clamorous mistakes like giving them penalties, such as the one against Empoli where INTER won with that "GIFTED PENALTY" that even Inter Coach Roberto Mancini admitted it was not a legal penalty.

Moreover, referees validating a goal that is clearly offside like the goal of Argentinian midfielder Esteban Cambiasso against Catania in the 64th minute. CATANIA 0 - 2 FC INTER .

In other words, if Inter had lost those 3 matches, meaning losing 9 points, the one leading the SERIE A would have been AS ROMA with one point advantage!!!!!

By now, it would have been a different status seeing a fierce contest for the Scudetto among Roma, Inter, and Juventus.

What makes people mad is that even Referee Stefano Farino now admits that he made a mistake when he validated Esteban Cambiasso's goal! Mamma mia!

It is no surprise why the Administrative Delegate of Roma Rosella Sensi and Roma Captain Francesco Totti are so eager to lift their voices.

I'm praying for another Calciopoli scandal...was hoping for one last season as well. I don't have a problem if Roma won a paper Scudetto :)

Yes, another Calciopoli is on the cards. Moratti is doing a double-standard.

When you have a team like Inter has, you don't need any favours. They have more depth than anybody else and they need these shifty decisions favouring them.

There is an upside to this. If such a scandal breaks out before the Euro, it will motivate the players and the Azzurri will win another trophy. Not only that, Inter will be in Serie B for the first time and they'll have to get rid of their foreigners.

To be honest Inter should have been relegated years ago (1921-1922). But the after-changed rules saved them.

Like others have said, none of the Inter players are at fault....they are a phenomenal. If something does arise at some point, i hope there's enough evidence to support the cause and the punishment fits the crime.

    Oh, Come On Guys!

This Is The "suspect Culture" !!! It's Ridicolous !!

The Referee Made A Mistake But Doesn't Mean That Surely There Will Be Another Scandal !

However, After Calciopolis The Media And People Are More Carefull About Referees And Dynamic Actions On The Fields !

Come on, what are you talking about Forza Totti!!! I rather have ROMA winning the SCUDETTO in the field not on paper! BUT I DON'T WANT ANOTHER CALCIOPOLIS... unless Inter is doing something fishy!

Totally agree with you, INTER has the best football group as a whole and they don't need the help of referees. The question is why they have been favored four matches in a row?????

Well, regarding your comment on "if a scandal breaks out" motivation for the Italian team will be high... might work. Yet, I rather see Inter losing without reaching a seond calciopolis.

What do you think of ROMA - JUVENTUS?

Is there an investigation? Can we get a legitimate source stating it?

I agree on the "referee making a mistake," but hello, making mistakes favoring Inter in the last 4 matches? Wonder why referees dont make the mistake with their opposite teams.

No investingation on a possible calciopolis. Only Referee Stefano Farina admitting publicly his clear mistake. I don't see the purpose of apologizing if the score is not changing.

I hope it isn't another Calciopoli, simply because it will further tarnish Serie A.
I'll put up with another year with Inter, simply because Milan wouldn't win the paper schudetto, so it's of no use to me.LOL

I totally agree with you LUCA03. Personally, I don't want more BIG SCANDALS in the Serie A, but if something is going wrong, it must be revealed.

That's true. Milan will not win the Scudetto on paper / a tavolino. Good thing is that MILAN already won big time UEFA Super Cup, Champions League, and FIFA World Club Cup, leaving Inter with the Serie A. :)

The psychology of some Italian refs stun me. Even if a team is good to win fair and square, they somehow give these teams gifts. If your club is as good as Inter or Juve and Milan pre-Calciopoli, you don't need favours. Clubs like Reggina and Cagliari need favours because they're not going to be like the Big Three (unless it's 1970 when Cagliari was a team to fear).

Farina is one ref who has been prone to criticism before. If I remember correctly, there wasn't a lot of praise for his refereeing of a Chelsea-Barca match.

Likewise. A second Calciopoli would be disasterous but if Inter is really doing some fixing, it's better to find out sooner rather than later.

Winning fair and square is what I want. Inter has been struggling in the last 4 matches. Yet, as you mentioned, is there some fixing going on, it's better to be revealed. Just want to see good football, hopefully, my team Milan, will shine soon in the Serie A as they shine in International competitions.

I prefer they win it on the field as well...but, if Inter are proven guilty for any wrongdoing...and if i were the Sensi family...i would accept the title and be done with it. But, i doubt anything will come of it. If we have another Calciopoli scandal, i'm all for it, if it means cleaning up any influences clubs have over matches, officials etc.

Instant Replay is the best solution.

Ok, I buy your argument. Just make you think as TOTTI mentioned on why Inter has been favored 4 times in a row with "mistakes." Just thinking...

That kind of thing needs to be implemented on an international level first. FIFA would need to get off it's lazy butt and start taking advantage of some technology.

I feel like with all the publicity surrounding refereeing decisions now, it wouldn't exactly be wise for Inter to be "match fixing". I don't really think anything suspicious is going on, I rarely watch Inter games but in the games I watch (generally Milan, Roma, Palermo when I can) I see alot of wierd decisions which don't get publicised to the same extent as ones that go in Inter's favour.
