They are my favorite band! The lead singer, Rivers Cuomo, is a soccer fanatic. You can watch him play soccer in his music-video, "Photograph". Weezer is the best band on the planet!!!

Heres my theory on weezer. Matt Sharp = Good weezer. No matt sharp = Bad weezer. As good as rivers may be, every record they have put out since pinkerton has been lacking alot. And taht waht matt sharp brought. Alot.
Eh? Isn't this thread in FFA also? Whatever. I thought the Green Album was trying to be too much like the Blue Album, as in just catchy tunes. Maladroit was definitely better and was more like a combination of the Blue and Pinkerton. I don't know how much Matt Sharp had to do with it though, but that's just my opinion.
Rivers was at all of the US's games during the group phase during last summer's World Cup. I met the guy later that summer and talked to him about being at the World Cup. If you go to weezer.com and search for World Cup, some of the responses will have pictures of Rivers and his friends at the games.
Okay, I'm glam metal through and through, but the Blue Album is in my top five. Apart from that I've only heard two songs from the latest album, which were okay but nothing special.
Ok, I'm pretty sure I can rule out Footix and Alex_1. Most likely Ted and PH, too. Now metrocaron? Hmm? Would Rivers like dance/techno???
