Just wondering. Are there any players, coaches, journalists, publicists, or agents on these boards? I guess it's the best place to gauge fan opinion on topic X.
There are some players that have accounts on here. Mikkel Diskerud, Marco Vidal, and one of the Hoyos brothers have all posted in YA. There's a few other young guys in lower leagues that have accounts as well, but their names escape me. Wasn't there a quote from Bruce Arena back in like, 2006, about him or Bob reading BS and deciding to never come back?
I've never seen any of those guys post on BS. But I can imagine why Arenas and Bradley would stay away!
thats b/c they rarely do, but when they do they post in the topics about them on YA' section. Im certain bob (and any manager for that matter) have better things to do then to read only forums. Heck, I have better things to do, but i like a good debate
I wonder if she reads [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VovkvDnhRfY"]YouTube- WM 2010 Hot Argentina Fan[/ame]
There is one, and he has. Thread: Mikkel Diskerud can choose US or Norway NT His account: miklagard Marco Vidal's thread Marco Vidal C.F Pachuca (2010/11) He's posted quite a bit, including announcing he was going to Pachuca and his view on youth development.
We should start some kind of lobbying group for convincing dual citizens around the world to play for the US. Who else can we recruit? There must be tons of Jermaine Jones' out there. (Thank you, military dudes!)
Donovan's dad posted here back during the '00 olympics. I also remember Conor Casey's mom posted once or twice, probably 8 years ago. Jonathan Spector's sister made a brief appearance. And there was a yank named Grover Gibson, who played in the German Third Division, who started posting in Yanks Abroad and made a real jackass of himself when he started slagging on MLS.
Mrs. Arena posted after Thomas Rongen lost his stepdaughter. I believe both exNASLer Julie Veee and current FSC guy Christopher Sullivan posted but I don't remember their usernames.
