    player and how much does he make? Does anybody know the profit of the MLS. Sorry for all the questions but thanks!!!!

    profit - $0
    highest paid player - there's a bunch making the league maximum

    Anticipating your next question: $270,000 is officially the maximum salary. However the prevailing belief is (and MLS may have even admitted this, but I'm not sure) that some players are paid more, and $270,000 is simply the maximum amount applied to the salary cap.

    Anticipating your next question: approximately $1.7 million per team per year.
