i'd like to put in my 2 cents' worth that i've seen nantes youth teams play in tournaments, and it's great to watch. but the most impressive is the class and discipline off the field. even the débutants who are like 6 and 7, act like pros. matching warmups and bags, all spotless and neat, all hair in place and shirttails in, even before they've started warming up their rigourousness is obvious; as they say in french, ça ne bouge pas d'une oreille! and on the field, it's perpetual motion but perfect organization.
It is extremely well done - I have seen all five episodes on GolTV and highly recommend it. Congrats to ARTE and FCNA. Thanks also to GolTV for bringing this to an American audience. Also, in my opinion the translation was really well done. First class production all the way! http://www.arte.tv/fr/connaissance-...TE/L_27Acad_C3_A9mie_20du_20Foot/1201848.html
I just wish the voices were a bit more in line with the real people. The coach's voice sounds like he's about 75
Does anyone have any idea of how many episodes of Soccer Academy exist. I just started watching the reruns on GOLTV and was wondering how many shows there are. Also anyone have any idea if they run them in order?
Hey guys, I used to watch this show back in the day and I'm desperate to download it again either dubbed in english or english subtitles. Anyone have any sources? I've been following Dimitri Payet's career ever since seeing this.
Nope I didnt, do you happen to know where I can find it?I did some research but did not find anything unfortunately.
It dried up just like Auxerre's youth academy did. They are no longer producing tremendous talent. Lyon surpassed them long ago.
Point missed. There was a tv show following Nantes youth academy on Goltv. It was a fun show to watch, and apparently a couple of the kids (Payet for 1) have gone on to bigger and better things. Second, there was no show about Lyon - so Lyon doesn't matter in this discussion.
