Do you like the new look of the WUSA site?

I'm undecided. I like the color scheme, but I kinda miss the old one even though there was nothing really going on with the league other than the festivals.

I like the new look. I especially like the fact that SOMETHING is happening at the site. I'm also somewhat encouraged that we have some big times sponsors; I hope they hang in there for WUSA 2005. I just may write the new sponsors and thank them for their support.

I'm not enthusiastic about the color scheme. Blue would be better, IMHO. But I like how user friendly it is. Also, I love the "upcoming matches" part on the right. Looks like the MLS site, sort of. I wonder if it'll have that same sort of live functionality. I love that. Also, it looks a bit more adultlike. I'm not sure how to describe that, but it just does.

Big sponsors? Yeaaaaah!!!! That's good news. Seems like all the news has been bad lately. Good to hear something good. The sponsor issue begs an interesting question (IMHO): Will the kits look the same, assuming the league starts up again next year? I wonder because the jerseys all had smaller, but multiple, team sponsor logos all over the jersey. I wonder if it would be more practical revenue-wise, to allow the sponsors the full chest area (and secondarily the sleeves and back), as in the rest of the world? I don't particularly care one way or the other. Just kind of curious.

The new look is nice, at least something is happening. I kinda liked the old one better for some reason though.

I don't know if this is it but RMG3, which designed the old site, has a very good reputation for designing sports sites, especially soccer sites. So they knew what kind of an audience they were after, which helped.

The old site had goalkeepers. For some reason none of the current rosters for the eght teams list a goalkeeper (although the bios for each player lists the team rosters with goalkeepers).

Here's the Washington Freedom roster (all 8 are the same vis-a-vis goalkeepers)

I like the new look. However, is that Mitts up at the top with Mia, Brandi, and Boxxy? I'd never puts Mitts in the same group as Mia or Brandi (or with Boxx for that matter). What about Lil, Jules, Abby, or Mac...to name just a few?

Anyone know if it is still possible to access the articles that were up until just a few weeks ago archived in the Fanland section of the wusa.com site?

    Thanks!

I like the old. I could see what once was and what might be!
