Being a Newcastle fan is difficult. I've been a fan since '93-'94 But there are times I find my self wanting to actually cheer and celebrate. My Dad was a Liverpool since they would tour St. Louis in the '60's. My sons are both Liverpool fans. So in the fight for the top, I root for Liverpool. Do you have another team? If so, who?
Maybe this a bit ironic, but Newcastle was a team a lot of people treated as a second team because they were The Entertainers. Under Keegan they were always a good watch.
Thanks to a friend who moved over the pond and lived in Preston for a time I have a PNE scarf and they've been my go to in the Championship. I guess I have to choose between them next year.
Can't really support another team in PL. I usually just kinda root for another team if I like the rosters/coach, but it changes every season.
