Big Gabi is 28. I can see him moving in the next year or two. And who knows when Willy could leave. Also all the players you have mentioned have all missed multiple games so far. If we have to loan out mosquera or hincapie next year so be it.

I want to win the league and UCL multiple times.

Or driving the price up so City don't get an absolute steal?

Disagree. Only so much money and only so many squad spots, and we have a lot of defenders already.

Winning also means not letting the enemy correct their mistakes. I'd let Gabriel go to any team in the world in the summer. If we get Guehi and Pep has to keep Ake for another season.

I wouldn't let Gabriel go to any club this the summer.

There have been some reports linking us to Brahim Diaz. We've been linked to him in the past. While a little undersized for the EPL, he has a decent pedigree and he seems to fit the Arteta mold. He plays both sides of the ball, versatile attacker, good passer, solid dribbler and can score. He's getting hardly any time with Madrid so he could possibly be had on the cheap. Could be the next Trossard-like player.

Rumors have linked Arsenal to a number of young exciting left wings, 19 year old Yan Diomande at Red Bull Leipzig, 20 year old Dani Rodriguez at Barcelona B, and my favorite, who may be looking for more playing time, 23 year old Barcola at PSG. But. until any of these rumors are the subject of a “Here we go” or an “Ornbomb”, I don’t expect anything to happen until the summer.

Barcola raises the ceiling on the squad, very very keen.

The Guehi transfer rumor if credible may mean Saliba is off to Spain in the summer Especially if we win the title. He's always said he wants to be here for a title. After that is done he might say he paid us in full.

Barcola on the left would pretty much complete us attack wise. Pretty much as I think we need a striker that can get us roughly 20 league goals a season. Other than that a sweeper DCM.

I hate to give up on Gyokeres so quickly but given his struggles and Kai hopefully coming back very soon, I wonder if PSG might be interested in Gyokeres? We could do a straight swap (or close) for Barcola.

Absolutely. And while we're trading those two, we can trade Jesus for Desire Doue.

i don’t think PsG is interested in Gyokeres and even if they are, assuming he doesn’t catch fire in the second half of the season, it’s going to take a lot more than a straight swap to get Barcola away from PSG.

Saliba just signed a new contract, he is not off to Spain in the summer.

Are you looking for a replacement for Zubimendi or a backup? If you are looking for a replacement, I think you are seriously underestimating how effective he is defensively. He may not be as athletic as some prefer, but he reads the game extremely well. He actually averages more tackles and interceptions per 90 minutes than Rice.

He's also a beast in the air

Zubi isn't a look at him athlete, but he is underrated in how awesome he is.

Likely he won't but we are talking RM. The general line of thinking doesn't apply to them and Barcelona. Saliba is obviously not the same level as Cristiano but Cristiano had 3 years left on his Man Utd contract when he left. Cesc also had 3 years left on his when he went to Barcelona.

So wouldn't shock me if HE pushes for a move and it happened. Which may partially explain Guehi...maybe.

    I hope not.

Not a replacement. A compliment to the team. My observation of Zubi is he is decent but not great at the defensive center mid part of his game. Reads the game great but have to agree with online pundit that he often can't handle the physical part of the game. He gets bullied or almost caught out at times. This sweeper would come in when we are trying to hold a lead.

Your response says more about you giving a f*ck what people think about you, than anything else.
Another online bully. I take zero insult from it because I always consider the source. I am writing this as a general response to everyone else who might think this way. I'm happy to hear you write this as its evidence of your character.

And you know what? I'll still 'rep' posts you or anyone writes I agree with (and I have ask your buddy) , because I'm here to discuss football and all things Arsenal and you being a pr&ck doesn't detract from a good take on Arsenal.

You can also go get your f*cking shine box.
