I'm no baseball historian or statistician, but these guys are beyond pathetic. Ismael Valdez has been pitching out of his mind for my Pads this year, but [/i]Ismael Valdez[/i] shuts down a team for 8 innings?!?! I think the Expos have been shut out 6 or 7 times already this year. They've scored more than two runs something like twice. Yikes!! These guys are worse than most Triple AAA teams. When Nick Johnson gets back he'll definitely help and I think they're missing someone else who's at least a professional hitter, though I can't think of his name. But these guys are HORRIBLE, with a capital H!!!
well, i haven't forgotten about either the tigers or the mets, but i think the expos' collective average at this point is something like .207. the '62 mets have nothing on these guys so far this year.
Interestingly, the Mets were 6th in homers in the NL and scored 25 more runs than Houston. The Cubs scored only 15 more runs than the Mets. I'd definitely go with the Tigers because their suckiness was so much worse than the rest of the league. They scored 108 runs less than the next worst team.
